The company was granted Local Enterprise Agency status in 2003.
It is a not-for-profit social enterprise with any surpluses being reinvested into business development, social inclusion and regeneration services. Cre8ted in 1990 the company has a long track record of successfully delivering business development as well as economic and social inclusion services in Edinburgh. Its services include business start-up and development support for the private and third sectors, business incubation, access to funding, signposting, seed corn financial support for entrepreneurial activity, skills development and networking opportunities.

Craigmillar Business Incubator
Cre8te is the one stop shop in the area for advice on business matters. Existing businesses can access experienced business counsellors who can advise on business start-up, expansion plans, re-location, application for soft loans, and grants for employment purposes.
